👋 About Me

Welcome to my academic homepage! I am Laibin Chang (常来宾). I received my Ph.D. degree from the School of Computer Science, Wuhan University (WHU), where I was affiliated with the SIGMA Lab, supervised by Prof. Bo Du and Prof.Chang Xu. Before that, I obtained my M.Eng. and B.Eng. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering and Electronic Information Engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China), advised by Assoc. Prof. Huajun Song and Prof. Peng Ren.

🔍 Research Interests

My research focuses on Computer Vision and Intelligent Information Processing, with a particular emphasis on challenging low-quality and complex environments. My work aims to bridge the gap between low-level image restoration and high-level semantic perception through cross-task coupled optimization.

  • Low-level Vision: Underwater image restoration/enhancement, low-light enhancement, and adverse weather removal.
  • Perception & Segmentation: Underwater salient object detection (USOD) and camouflaged object detection (COD).
  • Multimodal Learning: Cross-modal feature fusion and prompt-based segmentation.
