Welcome to my academic homepage! I am Laibin Chang, a Ph.D. candidate in Software Engineering at Wuhan University (WHU). I am currently affiliated with the SIGMA Lab, supervised by Prof. Bo Du and Prof. Prof. Chang Xu. Before that, I obtained my M.Eng. and B.Eng. degrees in Information and Communication Engineering and Electronic Information Engineering from China University of Petroleum (East China), advised by Assoc. Prof. Huajun Song and Prof. Peng Ren.

My research focuses on computer vision and intelligent information processing, with an emphasis on challenging low-quality and complex environments. I work on underwater visual perception, image enhancement, image segmentation, and salient object detection. I actively collaborate with Yunke Wang, Xu Zhang, Kui Jiang, and several other researchers in the field.

My research interests include:
